Environment Artist (Freelancer)

Location: We only consider applicants based within a 2-3 hour time difference from Europe or the UK.

Duration: 4-6 months, depending on workload.

New Moon Production is a remote working Hamburg based studio, bringing new and exciting games to the market. Since its founding in 2016, it has released multiple games on different platforms, including the much beloved Big Farm: Mobile Harvest, enjoyed by a quarter of a million players daily and Sunshine Island.

The "New Moon Family'' is made up of approximately 90 highly talented individuals from all over the world and more than 17 nations. Since 2021, New Moon Production has been part of Stillfront Group AB, which is a group of independent developers, publishers and distributors of digital games - with a vision to become the leading group of game developers and publishers.

The BIG Farm Franchise is urgently looking for a skilled freelance Environment Artist with Unity experience to join our mobile game production team for Big Farm Homestead.

YOUR BACKSTORY

  • Conceptualize and model game-ready environmental assets (trees, rocks, landscapes, decorative elements)

  • Expertise in creating and optimizing 3D assets specifically for mobile games

  • Advanced knowledge of the Unity engine

  • Experience with asset integration pipelines

  • At least 1-2 published mobile titles

  • Familiarity with version control workflows

  • Bonus: experience with shaders
